Aamaar "Pet" (is that called "Paaltu Naam??? ) Naam "Shyam". Therefore.......My name here on HF is a combination of my initials - "GK" and my pet name "SHYAM" - that makes it GKSHYAM.......

PS: Now please help me translate all that english into Bangla/Assamese.....

Just a small doubt.....I dunno if I'm mixing up things out here.....But I thought Prasenjit, that you had said in the beginning that you live in Mumbai??? pet name in bengali is Daknam...and not paltu.... Paaltu is in bengali called Posha and is generally used when speaking of animals that u have at home...like pet dogs, cats...then we say aamar ekta posha beral aachey...which means I have a pet cat.
