(Saira) Junglee (1961)

A young Saira Banu made her sensational debut with this film. With Shammi in his element and almost all beautiful songs, the movie became a super hit.

I am uploading these songs on request. There are three posts here. The first post contains all the songs of the film from an original soundtrack album. The second post contains several extended version songs, all thanks to the courtesy of the Forum members. The song "Ehsaan Tera Hoga" has been a popular number with many instrumentalists. The third post contains this song performed on various instruments.

(Saira) Bluff Master (1963)

After the sensational success of "Junglee (1961)" it was inevitable that the stars Saira & Shammi of that film were paired again. "Bluff Master" with this pair in the lead didn't make any new waves. Yet thanks to some fine songs, the movie was a modest success. Incidentally, Laxmikant & Pyarelal were assistant music directors of this film that had music composed by Kalyanji & Anandji.

Here are the songs from this album. The standout song from this album is Manhar Udhas' "Khwaab Ki Tasveer". I never felt that he could be this good...

(Sadhana) Asli Naqli (1962)

This simple story of discovering ones own true personal identity was directed by Hirishikesh Mukherjee. The movie has the regular drama but the show stealer was its music. Shankar & Jaikishan composed songs for this film were all huge hits. The appeal of Sadhana's innocent looking charm with Dev's usual savvy helped the movie to become a modest success.
