(Hema) Kudrat (1981)
This Chetan Anand film had shades of Bimlada's memorable classic "Madhumati (1958)". It also had beautiful music composed by RD with several lovely songs. Tithe standout of the album is the song “Humein Tum Se Pyaar Kitna". A great song sung separately by Kishoreda and Parveen Sultana; both separately rendered and composed. The one sung by Kishoreda was composed in popular style whereas the song by Sultana was composed in the classical style. I am uploading these songs in back-to-back three posts. Shailendra Singh, who was introduced as a singer in Raj Kapoor's "Bobby" in 1973, acted in some three movies. This is one of them where he played opposite Rekha.
