The most common question I keep seeing over and over from new members is How do I download?, which leads to the question, How do I upload?, because of the ratio system. So I am writing this topic, so I don't have to dig out previous topics where I've helped folks before, this way I can easily find my post and refer them here, hopefully it will be helpful in the future.

After reading the guidelines you will realize you need to compress your mp3s. You have to use a software like winrar or winzip to compress your mp3s before uploading to the board, and the files have to meet the requirements as listed in the guidelines. And then you have to maintain a 1:2 upload to download ratio (in other words, for every 1MB you share, you can download 2MB), so if the ratio is above .50 under your name, you can download with no problems. You can upload, however, at any time. You can find winrar free here:

If you still have problems uploading, make sure you have compressed (.rar or .zip) the .mp3 files.

Whenever you REPLY or create a NEW TOPIC you should see a window like the one below.
You will see the file attachments box with a BROWSE button, click on that and browse to your file, then you have to click "Add This Attachment", and then you have to wait as your browser uploads the song to page. After that is done, (can take a while depending on your ISP speed) you click the Add Reply button to make your post. You will be able to tell when it's done because your page will no longer be loading, it will refresh, and you will see a white box with your attachment inside it, it will read something like "you have used 4 mb of attachment space for this post......." and you will see a Remove button (deletes the attachment) and an Add Into Post button (which shows the attachment inside the post, not necessary, but nice to use). Hi Admin,

I am mannu from mumbai, and am newbie member of this site from 2 days.
Am uploaded 29 songs or mores. 125 Mbs attachment in 1 - 2 days. my 1st songs attachments is showing me at 17th feb 2008 . 10:38 AM. & site as rules.

"Any post you submit need to be approved by the board admin or the forum moderator. Please do not submit the same post again. All the queued posts are validated within 24 hours."

Now after 24 hours later am checking in my id status in home page :-
Logged in as: mannnnnu ( Log Out ) UL: 0 bytes DL: 0 bytes Ratio: ---

My Id UL: 0 bytes / DL: 0 bytes Ratio --- No change within 24 hours. my ratio average is Zero. So i cant able to downloading some others songs bcz of UL: 0 bytes Ratio.
When am able to download songs from this site ?

It has been clearly stated in the board rules that it takes 24 to 48 hours to get moderated posts approved. Further it has been noticed that you have opened more than 25 odd threads for a single song uploads under a similar title. When you have to share songs based on a particular category, open just one thread and upload/post in the same thread. Do not start several threads.
