Yes I love that... Can someone explain exactly what "kali kamliwale" means...
Okay just checked it out, have always wondered.. Kamli coat: A coat made from a coarse woolen blanket which, patched innumerable times, Meher Baba wore almost continuously over a period of years; now on display in the Museum Room on Meherabad Hill. In the "Yashomati Maiyya" song... it refers to Krishna... Interesting.... Gulzar seems to have deliberately used cultural images that haze the boundaries between Hindu and Muslim religious practices... "Kali dargah" "kali kamli wale" ... "ataria pe jhalar" ...
