HR ji, Bangla uses the Bramhi script. This is very common in the eastern states. Bramhi (pronounced 'braamhi') comes from Bramha, the god. In the same region is the Mighty river Bramhaputra. It might interest you to know (or you may already know it), that Burma was formerly Bramhadesh. The eastern part of India was Bramha's territory. That's why the rare (I guess one and only) Bramha temple in Pushkar, Rajasthan evokes so much surprise. Self - belief is the most potent force.
