What a hell of a coincidence, Subir Ji! I have just 10 minutes back posted a request in "Some Rare Diamonds of Other Legends" for the Nutan songs from Chhabili. And then I saw your this earlier thread!

Mujhe Lagta Hai Ki, the common factor is "Bhoole Bhisre Geet" in Vividhbharati! This morning these songs were broadcast.

Chhabili is from the days when I was young and has so many memories associated with it. It hurts just to remember.


I think it was Tanuja's (Kajol's mother) first film.

Here are three songs sung by Nutan from the film "Chhabili". She has a lovely voice and sings very well. I can't figure out why she didn't sing more in films.

If anyone does have the songs she sang for "Mayuri" (and for a Marathi film - I forget the name) - please do upload them. She has also sung one verse in a song from "Beimaan" - it's the only great bit in an otherwise forgettable song.

I have only heard two Lata songs from "Hamari Beti". I have heard that Nutan has sung one song but am not even sure what song that is. Will try to find out more and get back - with the song if possible!
