Just the other day, my daughter wanted from me the Hindi words for "Strength", "Courage" and "Faith" which her friend was planning to get tatooed. It took us quite a while to print out "shakti", "saahas" and "vishwas".

Am I right that if a track is already in mp3 (the older version), then the mp3PRO does not compress it any further?

Thanks Vishnu Choumalji, now I am encoding all new audio files in MP3PRO and it will be approximately 1/3 in size as compared to earlier files U/L by me in the forum.

However, since I have MP3 files already encoded in 192 KBPS and I cannot compress them and this view has been also expressed above by Mr. Unni, kindly confirm this also.

I came to know form some sources that famous flute player (Late Pannalal Ghosh, who was also brother-in-law of Music Composer, Late Anil Biswas) was requested by RK to play flute in this song and he did it. It has an excellent flute interlude.

I tried to convert mp3 to mp3pro and it did not work. I shall try what you suggested: converting mp3 first to WAV and then converting to mp3pro. Once the experiment has been conducted, I shall revert with the findings and then we can present a paper on the subject.
