As we all know Shamshad begum was from Punjab.she had very good contributions right from 1930's to 1975.In punjabi film industry she had many top hits to her credit.Most of the work she did was with Hansraj Behl who gave her hits like teri meri ik jindri,batti bal ke,hayi ne mera balam,tut jaye rail gadiye,jatt kudiyan to darda mara,rab na kare etccc.
also S. mohinder and sardul Kwatra used her voice.
in this I am adding few of her good songs.please do add to it

this is incidenatlly her last evr release song.first (barring mughal-e azam release 2004 )recorded for Teri meri ik jindri 1975 and reused in Daaj 1976.enjoy
