as we all know that Suman kalyanpur's first break was Mangu 1956 md Mohammed shafi/OP Nayyar.but i had learnt that she had sung version songs from shabnam md 1949 md sd burman

Suman got her break earlier than 1956. I can't recall her first song but she did sing "Ek Dil Do Hai Talbagar, Badi Mushqil Hai" a beautiful duet with Talat Mahmood from Darwaza, which was released in 1954. The version songs of Suman might be earlier or could even be later as the companies used to bring out version records of popular songs years later. There were instances galore where songs in the voices of two different singers were brought out simultaneously, one for picturisation and the other merely as a record. But each such case had different reason. Some of the songs in this category are Saigal / Pankaj Mullick for My Sister, Shamshad / Suraiya for Shama, Lata Mangeshkar / Meena Kapoor for Anokha Pyar. I do not think Suman's songs from Shabnam belong to this category.

yes sumanji was a newcomer during shabnam 1949.yet songs were recorded for her.
another name is geeta/lata chori chori.i am dying to listen to suraiya's version of shama songs
