Yesterday I heard Producer, director, editor Shakthi Samant on Radio. He was going on and on narrating his experiences in the industry - from start to end.

He specifically mentioned that Dada wanted Rafi Sahab to sing all songs of Aardhana but when they tried to reach him he was not available. They were told that Rafi Sahab is gone on a world tour and he won't be available for the next 2 months.

Then they decided to try out a new voice - Kishore Kumar for a new hero - Rajesh Khanna. And it worked out very well.

I also read that SD Burman fell sick and RD burman took over and got Kishore Kumar to sing songs.
