i am starting a new thread where geeta-rafi duets can be uploaded or informationcan be given about links to geeta-rafi duets.
geeta dutt and mohd. rafi sang more then 120 duets together.she sang the maximum numer of duets with rafi sahab.infact the total of duets she sang with mukesh,kishore kumar,talat mahmood and manna dey is less than the number of duets she sang with rafi sahab alone.
i am uploading a rare song from unreleased film'' raat ki uljhan''.the music director is salil chaudhari and lyrics are by gulzar .this was the only geeta-rafi duet composed by salilda.the song must have been recorded in late sixties and must be one of last geeta-rafi duets.

nice one maheshji. here is another rare duet by rafi-geeta, compared by OP Nayyar from a movie called 12'0 clock. Its a beautiful number called: Tumjo Hue Mere Humsafar.

the song is from band master[63] and the md is chitragupt.

There is a song in the film "Shama parwaana" (1954) with lyrics
"Beqaraar hai koi aa ae mere dildaar aa".
However it is a duet by Rafi with Suraiyya. Is that the song you
were thinking of?

yes shahrukh,the song is from band master[1963].hfgk also mentions the song.
awara abdulla has two geeta-rafi duets-1]-o awara abdulla,yeh pyak ka hulla gulla; and 2]-hum hain awara to kya hai,dil to duniya se juda hai.
i will ul some of the duets tomorrow or on saturday.

husnlal bhagatram happens to be one of my favourite composers.while there work with lataji,suraiyaji and rafi sahab is often talked about;relatively little is known about the geeta-hb team who did around 35 songs together.i have some of the songs and i find the combo quite good.
hmv had released a double cassette set of husnlal bhagatram about 12-13 years back and it was great.
