(Manoj) Deshwasi (1991)

After his last disaster with "Clerk (1989)", Manoj waited another two years to come out with this movie. Again he assembled a whole bunch of stars and this time went back to LP to compose the music. By this time, Lata, who sang hundreds of hit songs for LP and who was a staple singer for them, had fallen out of favor of LP. Their new singer was Anuradha Paudwal, who really wasn't new. There are only five songs in this album but she sang all of them with only one song being a solo. But for Manoj, his bad luck continued. This movie also didn't fare well with the audience. He made only two movies after this and appeared in only one of them.

(Manoj) Maidan-E-Jung (1995)

After waiting for four years Manoj appeared in this multi-starrer (his last movie was "Deshwaasi" made in 1991). If not for anything else this film will be remembered as the one in which Manoj made his last appearance as an actor. After this, he worked on only two projects. He was involved in making "Jai Hind" in 1999 and lent his support in writing for a film in early 2000's.

There are some very good songs in this album by Bappi. I am uploading these songs in two back-to-back posts. Here are the songs in the first post...

Swarapriya, Dil Mein Tere is from Nadeem Shravan's Aatish 1994 not Maiden-E-Jung 1995. Also the singers for Manne Lage Le Yaar a.k.a Lo Phagun Ritu Aa Gayee need to be switched with the singers for Shaam Dhal Rahi Teri Yaad. Here's the back of the cd to help guide you. smile.gif
