(Amitabh) Gangaa Jamunaa Saraswathi (1988)
Manmohan Desai had a string of 13 jubilees until this movie was released. Last several of his hits included Amitabh in the lead as this one. However this tried and rehashed formula didn't cut any mustard with the audience. They rejected it mercilessly. Even some good songs couldn't lift the fate of the film. This is another movie in which Amitabh appeared as a guest. This is also another movie in which Naseeruddin Shah played a different role than what one usually expects from him. We also have Babla, who made himself a name as Mukesh's voice singing his songs for Gulshan Kumar of T-Series, as the music director. Also a new face was introduced as the leading lady in this film, Sanjana Kapoor. I guess she failed to impress and disappeared without a trace. Here are the songs from this album...
