(Sunil) Kshatriya (1993)
Divya Bharati, who shone like a morning star for only a brief period of time, was among this star-studded film. She entered into the movies when she was only 14 years old starting her career in the Telugu film industry. She later entered into Hindi films. She died under tragic and mysterious circumstances in 1993 when she was only 19. She appeared in 14 Hindi films, five of them in 1993, including this one. I am posting songs from this film in two back-to-back posts. It has some good songs but the real winner is the melodious "Sapne Mein Sakhi" by Kavita Krishnamurthy. She was absolutely magnificent in singing this lovely song. It seems like she just disappeared from the singing scene all of a sudden. With so much talent sometimes one wonders what happens to these types of singers who has such golden voice and had a decent popular track record... Here are the songs in the first post... Whenever Roshan Ji and Sahir Saab got together they produced winners. Their collaboration in nine plus movies produced several musical gems. Songs from this album are no exception. I am uploading these songs on request in two back-to-back posts. The first post contains all the songs from the film. The second post has several extended version songs. Here are the details of the songs in the first post and the songs themselves. There is a song in this post where the Hemmady sisters, Suman and Shyama, sing together a song, "Jhaankti Hai Meri Aankhon Se”. Perhaps this is the only time they got together to perform in a movie... Attached image(s)
