Many thanks sangeetbhakt ji for the clarifications. So obviously my records are incorrect about composer names for Firdaus. I have updated the list above and the master list on the first page with these correct details.

Exon, sorry I should have checked more authentic records (or waited for confirmation from some one with HFGK) before posting my remark about the composer of the film Firdaus (1953).

Many thanks Exon for your valuable inputs as always. I believe that Firdaus (1953) was composed by Robin Banerjee who has already been covered. Robin Chatterjee and Robin Banerjee seem to be two different composers. Sangeetbhakt ji has confirmed that the music for Firdaus (1953) was composed by Roshan sahab and Robin Chatterjee . Madhur Milan (1955) MD is Bulo C Rani as per EM database. Requesting help from friends with HFGK to confirm if A R Oza was also co-MD for this film.

Bulo C Rani is the only MD as per HFGK. AR Oza is cosinger with rafi, geeta, mahendra kapoor in one song only. (Ek Taraf Joru Ne Nikala Hai Diwala)

Parag..Let me be the first one to congratulate you on this momentous occasion, for the generosity and the ever-willingness of H(eart) F(ful) people..and ofcourse your 10000th post on GD forum.
As i said many times before, your untiring efforts kept the memories alive of a great singer.....

Thanks buddy, I really appreciate it. As I said in another post on this topic, I only initiated it and everyone came together to make it happen. I just made a "Sachche dil ki pukaar" and every one joined in to pull out this mammoth effort and Geeta ji was guiding and inspiring us by singing

"Zor lagaake haiyya, pair jamaake haiyya"



I am extremely happy that as a fan of Geeta ji, I am able to do a little to keep her memories alive. In this process, so many generous music lovers have contributed in various ways. What a wonderful feeling!
