(Waheeda) Aadmi (1968) I saw this movie for Dilipji and Naushadji. In the end, however, none of these individuals didn’t have much to contribute, it seemed like. Naushadji’s music was a tad better compared to his last outing with "Ram Aur Shyam". But still very uninspired and in the end like the movie itself utterly forgettable. SP, aren't you being grossly unfair to Naushadji & Rafi saab? 'Aaj Purani Raahon Mein' must rank somewhere in the top 2% of Rafi saab's songs. You consider it 'utterly forgettable'? Madhu |

Madhu May be I am here Madhu. This movie was such a forgettable experience because I love all its principals, Dilip Saab, Waheeda, and Naushadji. With all their talents put together when they couldn't deliver I probably got frustrated. But in no way it diminished my respect for either one of these individuals. In my other writings I clearly showed my appreciation of these individuals at no end. This is just lamentation of a true lover of these talented people. Cheers, S |

(Mala) Bombay Ka Chor (1962)
Here is another hit album from Ravi. There are several hit songs in this album but one of them is a standout. Kishoreda's awsome solo "Hasrat Hi Rahi" is a song for the ages. Great singing to accompany some heart rendering lyrics of Rajinder Krishanji to some lovely music by Ravi makes this not only an instant winner but one that will be remembered by every music lover for ages to come. Now for the details of the songs from this album and the songs themselves ... Attached image(s) ![]() |

Hi Swarapriya I think for the first time I've been able to contribute my two cents, in your wonderful posts, albeit only one part of a song. This is a song of Rafi Sahab with Jani Babu Qawaal. The song is "Jo Ishq E Haqeeqi rakta ho". The duration is 3.37 min, bitrate 160, format mp3 and source is thru the net, probably HF. As per Anupamaji's masterlist of songs of Rafi Sahab, there is another part of this song, which is only by Rafi Sahab. Would request others to upload the same. Thanks again Swarpriya for the mindblowing job you are doing. Regards Swaminathan |
