A while back Cineji had uled this song on the forum. No one else had this song on the cassettes/cds of Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baje. Cineji said that the song was incomplete (actually he too had one of those Unnified tracks that had part of Asha's voice edited out!!!!).

Managed to acquire what seems to be the whole song (at the cost of some noise in the file).

This song has tandem versions--the Asha one has one line of humming by Rafisaab and the Rafi one has a line of humming by Ashaji!!! biggrin.gif
The Rafi version has been uled at the Kachha Dhaaga in the Rafi forum.

MD: Chitragupta
Lyrics: Gopal Singh Nepali
Year: 1954

This is mighty odd! Both songs at 128 kbs were 3.06 mb. After zipping the Rafi version was 2.61 mb while the Asha on was 1.87. ohmy.gif Male deep voice phenomenon? unsure.gif
