No idea about the chariots of fire. What was that stage song--was it jeene ke bahane laakhon hai? Forget the words but it was one warfare kinda song na?

Me all confused. Ya jeene ke bahane is a solo by Asha na.
Cannot place the other one--meri teri whatever.
Do not have the haseena gazab ki song either. The VN bk lists that as the only duet of SS and Asha in the film.

Ok, all you good girls, bad girls, and confused girls (and guys). KBM ka soundtrack is quite simple. Allow me:

First song, "hanste hanste, kat jaayen raste, zindagi yuun hi chalti rahe", picturized on R. Roshan and ugly duckling Rekha Song sung by AB and Nitin Mukesh.

Second song, "jeene ke bahane laakhon hain, jeena tujhko aaya hi nahi", picturzed on duckling-turned-swan Rekha in club. Sung by AB. Kabir B. drooling and unable to recognize duckling.

Third song, "main haseena gazab ki, mujhpe nazrein hain sabki", stage contest between Sonu W. and Rekha. Sung by Sadhana S. for Sonu W. and AB for Rekha (but of course). Wierd song IMHO

The "chariots of fire" song people are talking 'bout was "main teri hoon jaanam, tu hai mera jiya" picturized on Sonu W. and Kabir B. in a swimming pool. Sung by Sadhna S. Of course being a minor at the time, I never really saw this song

Second, maine aapko sirf aunty bulaya tha, baaki sab log to gehre khoon ke rishte nikaal rahe hain. Aap ko ab mera wo behavior kaafi innocent lag raha hoga, pachhtaawa bhi zaroor ho raha hoga. Chalo no problem, i forgive you

Finally, as for the songs, I would've loved to ul them (esp. the screech contest "main haseena blah..." that seems to fascinate everyone here). Unfortunately KBM post-87 film hai. Mujhe ek baar Unni ji ki jhaad pad chuki hai, I dare not repeat my folly.

Pachchtawa? Bilkul nahi. Esp since KBM turned out to be post 87!!!

Finally, as for the songs, I would've loved to ul them (esp. the screech contest "main haseena blah..." that seems to fascinate everyone here). Unfortunately KBM post-87 film hai. Mujhe ek baar Unni ji ki jhaad pad chuki hai, I dare not repeat my folly. 

Well, being a popular film (I presume) should not be hard to find next time I go out of Kerala.

Okay...I have no clue if this song is rare (cause me a Lata fan.....hehe...entering the Asha section )...most of u ppl must be having this song I guess. It is a Asha Bhosle-Pandit Bhimsen Joshi song from the Album/Film called "Pativrata". This is a classical song, I would guess.

I wonder if anyone here can give me more info on this Album - the music director - if this is a private one or this is actually a filmi song - and the other songs from the same album/film.
