Thanks for the inputs, sis. I got it from a 5-Cassette pack of HMV that had an assortment of non-film bhajans.

Asha-tai & Jaidev make a heady combination. I always maintain that 'Asha sang her heart out for Jaidev while Jaidev composed his heart out for Lata'.

A debatable statement but it leads to fascinating insights about Jaidev's composing abilities.

Another composer about whom you can say the same is Hridaynath Mangeshkar.

And of course, SDB & Salil Chowdhury.

Ony OPN, RDB (partially) & Sudhin Dasgupta (in Bengal) stand out as exceptions.
