Apna Desh (1972)

If nothing else, Rajesh Khanna will be remembered for many movies with some memorable songs. This album is a representative and fine example of this. RD seems to be at his best in providing great music especially for Rajesh's movies. Almost all songs from this album were popular. All three duets and Kishore's solo stand out.

Here is a little masterpiece that came from Hrishikesh Mukherjee. Hrishida made so many beautiful movies that they linger in your heart and memories forever. This movie is no exception. To complement this there is the sweet music Madan Mohan provided. One of the standouts from this album is Manna Dey's song "Tum Bin Jeevan".
