Actually this ( top 3 ) was asked in an telephonic interview, on a Dubai radio station and the first song to come in his mind was the Saaraansh song !! the other 3 i am confused
 the second one got to be Soone Shaam Savere or Kya Hua Ek Baat Par.... For the third position AK had to take my help ( he does not really care about his favourites...and I was sitting next to him in his hotel room ) and I prompted one song which caught his attention : Daur-e-Khizaan Regards

Try these two songs, Firstly one of my favourite late 80's song of AK, he is top form is this one. Film: Pyar Ka Karz LP/Bakshi Naina tere naino ki galiyon mein mujhko basale - Amit Kumar Second one, masti bhara duet Film: Izzatdar LP/Bakshi Tumko dekh ke jhoom gaya, lattu ki tara mein ghoom - Amit Kumar & Alka Y Apologies if these have been u/l before, the thread is too long to check through. One of the best use of semi-classical singing in Indian films...IMHO the opening pieces of Sitar are lovely !! Never before anybody has explained the real full forms of the alphabets Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni Sa - in Hindi films ( AFAIK ) Its from Mamta Ki Chhaon mein....was it not uploaded before ? all the AK songs from MKCM were gems !!! Beeti Jaaye Jaaye Zindagani ( super duper use of music pieces from Jeevan Se Na Haar O Jeene Waale - Door Ka Raahi & the antara of Ge Ge Ge Geli Zara Timbuktoo - Jhumroo ) is also a class apart.. KCP PS - One song is eluding my memory - want to confirm if its a AK duet....it is sung by Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit and it is on a train....thats all I can remember......no film name no song title nothing :(( Regards
