Ok thanks. The film isn't mentioned in Hindi Film Database, therefore I am guessing that it wasn't released. The songs were penned by obscure lyricist Ummer Lucknowi. I heard this song long time ago "dil ki mayousi ghata ban kar..." or something like that very long time ago. Although it was from a very poor recording, it was indeed a very beautiful song.

Surjit Singh has uploaded hundreds of songs.

Anywayz, I was searching for some information on this film Rasheed Dulhan and got the following info on it :-

Umar Lucknowi :-

He was born on the 23rd September 1912. Due to some problems,
he culdn't study beyond the sixth standard and became a hosiery
shopkeeper. His love of poetry gathered round him quite a few
local poets (and poetasters, I daresay) and the business, such as it
was, began to suffer. His father then intervened, made him close his
store and again sent him to school, and then to College. After com-
pleting his graduation, he did some sundry jobs and, when WW II
commenced, he joined the Military Accounts Department. Refusing a
transfer to Allahabad, he resigned, preferring to stay in Lucknow.
There, he and a few of his friends planned to produce a film.
The film "Rashid Dulhan", released around 1949, with music by
Ghulam Mohammed, failed dismally at the box office. Umar Lucknowi
had penned 8 songs for the movie. In Bombay, he came in contact
with various film personalities. When Naushad and Director
S. U. Sunny decided to establish their own Film Company (Sunny Art
Productions), Umar Lucknowi became its Production Manager.
When Shahid Latif made "Sheesha" in 1952, he wrote a couple of songs
for that film. One was a Lata solo "KHushi dil se haNsi" and the
other was sung by Mohammed Rafi "Teri mehfil men dil thaame".

The movie has some great songs by Sitara and Uma Devi and a beautiful Eid song by Shamshad.



All of this info is from RMIM. Another RMIMER says this movie was never released. Thats what I think too.
