If there is one terrible miscast in a movie then it must be Shabana Azmi's in this. A great actress she is, she looked pitifully bad. One wonders what she is doing in this movie and why she is even there.

Ahsaas (1979)

With over 600 albums to his credit Bappi Lahiri has proved his mettle as a popular music maker. In later part of his career he tended to be repetitious. But occasionally he came out with a gem or two that are worth remembering. This album proves to be a good example. Most of the songs in this album are very good. Both solos by Kishoreda and one by Asha are very good.
