Raat Ke Raahi (1959)
Shammi was basking in the glory of his new find success of "Tumsa Nahin Dekha (1957)" and others when this movie happened. This is the same year he also starred in the blockbuster "Dil Deke Dekho". This album clearly has OP's stamp all over it. Music directors Bipin & Babul for "Raat Ke Raahi" took a chapter form O.P. Nayyar's foot tapping music. One can experience this in some of the songs from this album, especially Rafi Saab's beautiful "Ahaha Ek Nazar Ek Ada". I am re-uploading this and other songs by request here. A word of caution. Even though all of the songs are fair to average in quality, a discerning listener my experience a click here and a click there in a couple of songs. With that note, here are the songs ...
