Zameer (1975)

In 1961, Shammi played the hero opposite Saira Banu in "Junglee", who was introduced in that movie. By 1975, things changed drastically. By early 1970's Shammi put on weight and was no more acting as a hero in the movies. In this movie he plays would be father-in-law of Saira Banu even though Saira herself doesn't look that young any more.

Ravi Chopra, son of B.R., directed this movie. It wasn't a commercial success. After nearly 30 years, Ravi directed Amitabh again in a heart warming story of a father and his children in the movie "Baghbaan" in 2004 that turned out to be a huge success.

There are eight songs in this movie. I am uploading all of them. My favorite is Kishore's solo "Zindagi Hasne Gaane Ke Liye Hai". Here is a description of the songs and the songs themselves ...
