Thanks Mahesh Bhai for starting this excellent thread on SNT and for superb contribution towards rare SNT albums.

Also thanks to Swarapriya Ji for SNT albums and specially for the rare Naag Devta album.

I will also second Mahesh Bhai's request for separate forum on S.N. Tripathi

Thanks a ton for this rare gem, Mahesh! The sisters sound so good together.

Other than this one and "jhaa.Nkatii hai merii aa.Nkho.n se" (Dooj Ka Chaand, Roshan), are there any other duets by them?

Warm regards,
Abhay

Mahesh Bhai

Thanks for Kahe Ko Biyahe Bides. Very nice.

By the way, you may want to check out the Punjabi page for one more song from Chaman (1948) and a lovely Lata song from Lachhi (1949).

Kind Regards
Faraaj

Abhay,

I came across two more duets by the sisters.
Mahasati Ansuya (1965) and Deedaar (1970). I do not have both songs.

Naag Devta (1961)

Here is another nice album composed by Tripathi ji. There are eight songs in this movie. I am uploading six of them. I am also uploading an extended version of one song, courtesy of the Forum members. I am requesting the members to share the two missing songs.

Now for the details of the songs and the songs themselves ...
Attached Image

Here is the film version of the beautiful duet (Suman, Mukesh) with three stanzas. The bitrate is a bit low, but the audio is ok. Enjoy.

taaron ki thandi chhainyaa hum-tum mile, o saiyaan yaad rahe, o saiyaan yaad rahe (Ly: Qamar Jalabadi) - Suman K, Mukesh (3:43 \ 64)
