Aasmaan (1952)
In 1949, O.P. Nayyar scored music for the titles and a couple of interludes for the film “Kaneez”. The music directors for that film were Ghulam Haider and Hansraj Behl. “Aasmaan” was the first film for which OP composed all the songs. The very first song he recorded was “Iss Bewafa Jahaan Mein” sung by C.H. Atma. The very first song Geetaji sang for OP was “Dil Hai Diwaana”. Incidentally Asha Parekh appeared as a child star in this film as Baby Asha Parekh. Here are all the songs from this film… Attached image(s)
