I dont remember the thickness of the Tape, but they were available in Mumbai in those days. My dad used to buy the new spools for recordings. We used to carry our recorder to concert halls and Mehfils.

U know, Kishoreda sound so much like Dev Anand in this song!! And what I like in his singing is that he never mimic Dev Anand or any actor's voice, just sang in their style. Just caught the correct mannerism of the person and sung like him. For example when he sung 'Aye Duniya, Tujhko Salaam; Tune Mera Naam Bhulaa Diya' or 'Fisli re fisli, pyar ke pehle kadam par', etc etc. And I really really love that!!! Not to mimic and catch the perfect mannerism of a person. Thats soo cool!!!
