This is the first film for which RDB scored music. However, it is said that he used to come out with some exciting tunes even earlier, some of which were used by Dada Burman for his films such as Funtoosh (Aye meri topi palat Ke aa) and Pyasa (Sar jo tera chakaraye).

Uploading songs from this movie. Opening with the first recorded song of this movie:

Ghar Aaja Ghir Aaye
Film: Chhote Nawab
Year: 1961
Lyricist: Shailendra
Music Director: RDBurman
Singers: Lata
Duration: 3:17
Bitrate: 192 kbps
Format: MP3

Last song is a Rafi solo. Rafi has pronounced some words like a kid to suit Mehmood's character in this movie. Listen to Rafi's voice in this song and how he has brought out the pathos. Excellent song.

Ilahi Tu Sun Le Hamari Dua
Film: Chhote Nawab
Year: 1961
Lyricist: Shailendra
Music Director: RDBurman
Singers: Rafi

Many thanks for these uploads.

There is one more Rafi & Chorus song, "Aamchum Taam Chum Kalala Badam Chum".

The duet, "Jeenewale Muskurake Jee" is also a Rafi-Lata duet, as I know. smile.gif

Aapko Milne Ko Mann Kar Raha Hai,
Mann Ko Samjaya To Dil Tadap Raha Hai,
Dil Ko Bahelaya To Aankhen Ro Padi,
Unhein Chup Karaya To Saansein Bol Padi.
Badi Gehrai Se Chhaha Hai Tujhe,
Badi Duaoon Se Paaya Hai Tujhe,
Tujhe Bhulane Ki Sochu Bhi To Kaise,
