Pooja (1954)

<Shailendra> Mohammad Rafi, Krishna Rao:
rhoom jhoom ke bajaao baansuri muraari, ang ang mein tarang laao banawaari
madhuban mein madhuwanti gaaye brijanaari

It only mentions Krishna Rao. It is most likely Krishnarao Chonkar (who also sang a duet with Rafi in Rani Rupmati - baat chalat nahi_n, but it could be Pandit Krishnarao Shankar Pandit, a doyen of Gwalior gharana and a Padma Bhushan recipient. I am cross checking and would revert.

Sukesh,

Thanks a lot for the details.
A quick search through the internet also indicates that the singer Krishnarao of Pooja and Rani Rupmati, is Krishna Rao Chonkar. I will update the filmography.

Usrafian has posted a very nice non-film song, composed by Shankar-Jaikishan.

< > Suman Kalyanpur, chorus:
dil dhak-dhak dhak-dhak dhadke, ik bujhataa shola bhadke,
dheeraj kaa bandhan phadke koyi aayaa hai, kyaa main karoon ai dil, aan padee mushkil

What happen to HariRam?
His account seem to have been suspended.
Did he change his name? or something else seems to have happened.
PM me if talking about it is against the rules.

I will wait before jumping to conclusion. But this is
going to be very disappointing news.
