I would like to have a word from Mr Waheed as to what he thinks about this Shamshad Begum. urzung khan Urzung bhai, as according to my knowledge there was one shamshad begum who has sung songs like you have added in your post and also she has sung some qwalies like "meri kashti par laga dena" there was an other female play back singer nemed dilshad begum who has sung some songs like in the film "rehana 1946, dunya walo nadaron ki madad karo etc, film "Birhan" song tu chanda mai teri chakori etc. here i didnt download the qawallies sung by shamshad begum if you noticed that she is not shamshad begum so there may be an other singer, but shamshad begum was one and didnt i hear about the other shamshad begum yet. Mother of actor/singer naseem banu, shamshad bhai known as "chamiya" 2. original name of actor Ragni "shamshad begum". regards, waheed |
