Both songs are awesome, surprised to know Kaifi Azmi wrote...Tumhi woh bheegi hui, he didn't write much but when he did it was pure quality stuff.

a version of this song was u/l ed by Sharad bhai for Humble rafi bhai some time ago.

I have another version.............Humble rafi you was looking for CDQ..........you will not find one, but hope this version is good too...............well atleast you will have it twice now

will post "Banda parwar mohobat ka salam" later.............its a quwaali by Rafi/Manna/Asha

Is the thank you from you or from your mule? This reminds of a series of black and white English movies I saw as a kid in the 1950s in which a smart mule says very pithy things. I do not remember exactly the name of the mule. By any chance was it "Francis?" Anyone?

Thanks hits for your comments and the link. Your're really a walking encyclopedia. With one stroke you also transported me momentarily back to those cherished idyllic days of my childhood where time itself took rest.

At the same time you proved me wrong about my own notion that there is something dreadfully wrong with my memory. Strange, I seem to remember my childhood better than my recent past. Nothing anymore seems to be impressionable these days. Perhaps we no longer have things worth remembering like for example Rafi's songs in his pristine youth.
