this is a sort of popular tune of Rafi & Lata 70's duets..........judging by it's availability in my part of the world.

there is also part 2 to this song which i would say is rare..................it is 1 min 54 sec with one stanza

I just worked it out they are both the same song
maybe a duplicate in the database or it could be part 2 of the song

The version i got is 3 min 10 seconds
It don't seem right 4 singers and only a 3 min song.
I haven't d/l ed your u/l as something tells me it is also 3 min 10 sec

I got a video version of this and will be converting it to mp3 if it is longer
I'll have it u/l ed in 15 min if it's got extra stanza[s]

This film was quite a find in terms of the music. Unfortunately, the songs are
cut up in the film and very often are in the background. I don't know if an LP
record for this film was released with the original uncut, uninterrupted songs.
I have looked in several places and have not yet found it. There are 2 other
Asha solos, and a solo by Kumari Faiyyaz in this film, and they are quite lovely.
So I add my name to the list of people looking for music from this film.
It was not a bad film either if I recall right.

You are correct. The 1979 release you are referring to is Ahinsa.

There is an unrelated 1981 release called "Ahimsa" which is a Malayalam movie. That's how "non-violence" is pronounced in that language.

The first time i heard this song was when Saj bhai [SAJ1974] sent me an audio tape of various Rafi numbers
since Sep 2004 i didn't get a chance to convert this one to mp3................lazy me

but however i got a film version of it..............7 MIN 15 SEC
