Thanks Antji, You could be right. I tagged this file as Bhavna 1973 - Music by Jaidev, Lyricist - Naqsh Layalpuri whereas Bhavna 1984's music is by Bhappi Lahari & Lyrics by Kaifi Azmi.

On Ultraindia ( http://www.ultraindia.com/movies/filmography/filmography.php ), Bhappi Lahari is shown as the MD of the film Bhavna. However, after clicking any of the listed tracks, we see that Jaidev is the MD.

As indicated by ANT Bhai and he is such a reliable Rafian, it should be from Bhavana 1972/73....and if you believe me, my heart says that Rafi Sahab's voice in this song matches the era of early 70's. I considered the later era voice of Rafi Sahab is much matured.

Zippoo bhai........youve given us a real test here.......very interesting this is turning out to be......i really have been trying to solve this one past few days.......i think the number 47 might be the breakthrough in the quiz [year of independence]....am i looking in the right direction.....possibly a patriotic kind of song......as for 40-80-15-30 all in the song is overall a challenging one to solve
