KR Bhai, re Tere Mere Sapney, in terms of the speed and beat rhythm, this I found very difficult nut to crack.

If you listen to the original tune, the table beats are full of rhythm and Rafi saab just glides through the song. Where as the Karaoke Track beats in comparison sound very sharp.

I’ve listened to Pro’s rendition of this song; Listen to Sonu Nigam’s version you’ll think……… what the hell is he doing?

Due to Track issues coupled with nerves I really struggled to keep up esp. with the low notes. I also got carried away whilst trying to put feel and expressions in antaras so much so that, I lost concentration; botched up & lost control..

KR I was soooo angry and disappointed after the recording, esp. for the delay in second antara “O Mere Jeevan Saathi”. I was faced with a dilemma, do I re record the entire song or do I just re sing the bits and cut and paste; I refuse to do the later, I feel that would be cheating my self.

Omkar Bhai is soo going to have a go at me; I’ve had it again.

I wud love to record the lot again, but just don’t have the time.

I feel so bad for uploading this in its current state; As a Rafian I feel ashamed for this carelessness…..but then I console my self thinking that I am just a Part Time Karaoker, and it's just fun.


I have decided not to record any other song until I record this one again and address the guilt feeling that I carry.

KR dont be put off by my attempt; just go for it, good luck.

Anwar miyan!!! Mashallah bahut achhi koshish kee hai aapne!! You really have that softness that Rafi sahab has in his voice. You only need to practise more and more and then attempt to record it. Just imagine how would your song sound when you practise a lot, especially such lovely number and then hear your own voice. Its great pleasure, isn't it?

So keep practising, keep recording and keep singing.

Anwarmian, who am I to guide you dude?? We all keep gaining knowledge and understanding and I feel its good to share it. Forget about the Sur, Taal, etc. If you enjoy singing, then thats more than enough. Just keep singing and keep posting here so that we also can enjoy listening your sweet voice

Mian, I already have recorded one song long time back. But wanted to change the ending part before I post it. But failed badly to spare some hours to re-sing that last part. Nasir bhai, aapke liye main ek separate note likhunga (karaoke recordings kaise kiye jaateyen hain). And really many thanks for your 3 cheers & for pulling me in the older generation (that is where I would like to spend my time/life, I am no fan of new generation songs, don't even know them and don't even want to know them). I am scared all old stuff is vanishing so quickly, but I am happy I have developed taste for and am enjoying the older generation legends). You being the die hard fan Rafi sahab, it is only encouraing for me to continue to remember Rafi sahab and spread his legendary work, at least I enjoy it. I am glad there are fans like you still openly appreciating this.

Harish dada, "Tute Huye Khwabon" main yahan par bhi upload karunga. There is no secret in getting better, & you know it all. What I can still say is I was not comfortable with headphones and microphones in the past & am just getting used to them more & more (jaise ki uske bina jee naheen skenge, wo to lagana hi padega). I just hated those as you were never yourself when singing and you concentrated on wrong things. Well the most I enjoy, and I am more satifying with my voice and singing, is when I am free of everything (e.g. driving to work, alone with no headphones, no mics). On your song Tumhe yaad hoga I will comment later.

Ibrahim bhai, Arey bhai itni Nehaji ki taarif ho rahi hai phir der kis baat ki, propose karon na (gaaney ke liye). Aapki aawaz mein to Jaadoo hai hi, phir usme thoda dil dal diya to kam pura ho jaayega. I have to say you have done wonderfuly well for Tere mere sapne. I am sure you notice it yourself that you have improvinf song by song and overcoing your past small issue more & more easily. Tere mere sapne is a treat for us in your voice, which is we all agree is the softest we have around. Very well done and keep doing more and get them to us. Don't forget to send them first to Nehaji.

OMkar bhau, Arey bhai, itne karaoke track gather kiye aur gaa naheen rahey ho. Bhai kya hua us "Chain se humko kabhi...." App really humko chain se naheen jeene de rahe hai (kumse kum chain se peene to do), ab jad se jald gaaney dalo.

Lagta hai yeh site phir ek baar lively ho rahee hain, let us make it lovely as well.

Lovely rendition Sanjay! Excellent choice too. I get the feeling that among your first choice of Rafi's songs are the husky ones, soft toned ones, and the ones that twist the words into whisper or sweet-nothings. Excellent Sanjay!

Harish yaar, heard your voice after a long long time.. And I felt so fresh... Is this a Hemant Kumar song?? You have that 'Dard' in your voice. Great singing, pal... Please if possible, sing it completely with a karaoke if its available as its really sounding great!!!

@OMkarbhai, you are right abt it being a HK song. Also it is a duet with LM Not too popular for someone to produce a karaoke track i guess.

@Sanjaybhai, ab aapke song choices ke baare mein kya kahoon? these songs are absolute gems, though they might not have got the due they deserve. your rendition was top class as always, though at first, specially the first line, I was disappointed. I thought there was a lot of wavering in the voice, though later on you more than made it up.

Sometimes I feel we shd sing as perfectly as we can (though it might take as much time as it takes to record 3 songs normally) as we are not getting any younger, and perhaps we might never be able to sing better than today in the future. Sometimes I feel it is better to sing more songs than being a perfectionist. Internally, haven't got a last word on this.

I am keen (I love) on trying the tracks that are not commonly heard. Waise achhe purane geeton ke karaoke track milne me kafi mushkilen hain. Jee to bahot chahata hai achhe achhe purane geeton ko gaaoon aur pehle apna man behlaoon aur phir agar achha recording huo to aapke samne pesh bhi karoon. Track naheen milte aur time bhi naheen milta. Khair, aisehi zindagi kat jaayegi.

"Tumne yaad" hoga suna (ishare pe). Aapne bina track ke (jo ki true colors dikhata hai) bahot khubi se gaya hai. Kuchh jageh par aap thoda relax ho gaye the, leking overall aapne humen HK ki yaaden dilayi. Yeh kya kum hai bhai?? Aapki aawaz to smooth hai hi and HK jaisi gehrai bhi sunayi di. Bhai aisehi achhe geeton lo achhe tarehse gaate raho aur pehle appka phir hamara man behlate raho.

Kafi likh chula hoon , bas ab band ho jata hoon.
