Itni achchi aawaz ho kar bhi koi saath de naheen raha hai (sharam ki baat hai). Lagta hai kuchch logon se contact karna hi padega (before Omkar improvizes, yeh sab kuchch karna padega).
Again great effort, very good voice, aur aasha hai ke jald hi koi aapka saathi ban jayega.

Anwar miyan, Neha is absolutely talented girl. Have you heard the 'Saiyan' (Kausi film ka gana hai yeh??) song that she ahs sung without music?? OMG, what a command over the SUR. UFFF, and even in the 'Rulake gaya sapna mera' she demonstrates her talent... Thanks for the link, Anwarmiyan

Urdu words always make confusion, just like here. The very first word of the song is not "ZULME ULFAT", but is ' JURME ULFAT' or JURM-E-ULFAT. Perfect "Talaffuz" is very critical when singing a song.

Kamal bhai you're right about Talahfuz vis Zulme E ulffat "Jurm E Ulffat" etc is critically important. I've learnt my lesson from getting a right good pasting from Omkar Bhai for recording Chaudvin Ka Chand in a CASUAL Manner

Arey Anwarbhai!!! I guess we all here want to do as good as possible in our singing in this our Mehfil. And in fact, being non-muslim, I always seek for guidance from you all who seem to be good Urdu speakers. Now Kamalbhai is also here to provide us his valuable comments especially on our Urdu pronounciations.

Kamalbhai, thanks for your comments. But I think Neha singing these song more casually. And I am sure, she will be more professional if she is recording these songs in the recording studios or recording it on PCs. Please do provide your comments on any of my wrongly pronouced words. Thanks

I have not yet heard 'mujhe dekh kar', as I have not heard the original (quite embarrasing for a Rafi fan, but truth shd be told), but I stumbled upon your 'Tute huve khwabon Ne'. Now I don't remember you posting that song here, but it was awesomely sung by you! You have really sung the low pitch passages very well. I think there is a massive improvement in your singing if I compare your current renditions to your initial songs. What is the secret?

@anwarbhai, this morning I suddenly remembered 'Tere Mere Sapne' and wanted to record it. But when I listened to the karaoke tracks, I simply cd not fit in the rhythm! It was so difficult that I gave up. You have fitted in superbly and I hope to take inspiration from you and listen to it several times and try again:)

KR Bhai, re Tere Mere Sapney, in terms of the speed and beat rhythm, this I found very difficult nut to crack.

If you listen to the original tune, the table beats are full of rhythm and Rafi saab just glides through the song. Where as the Karaoke Track beats in comparison sound very sharp.

I’ve listened to Pro’s rendition of this song; Listen to Sonu Nigam’s version you’ll think……… what the hell is he doing?

Due to Track issues coupled with nerves I really struggled to keep up esp. with the low notes. I also got carried away whilst trying to put feel and expressions in antaras so much so that, I lost concentration; botched up & lost control..

KR I was soooo angry and disappointed after the recording, esp. for the delay in second antara “O Mere Jeevan Saathi”. I was faced with a dilemma, do I re record the entire song or do I just re sing the bits and cut and paste; I refuse to do the later, I feel that would be cheating my self.

Omkar Bhai is soo going to have a go at me; I’ve had it again.

I wud love to record the lot again, but just don’t have the time.

I feel so bad for uploading this in its current state; As a Rafian I feel ashamed for this carelessness…..but then I console my self thinking that I am just a Part Time Karaoker, and it's just fun.


I have decided not to record any other song until I record this one again and address the guilt feeling that I carry.

But tell me how does one record a Karaoke song? Can this done just sitting at the computer? What's the easiest way? I think it would be easier to sing a Mukesh or Kishore's number rather than Rafi's. What do you think?

anwarmian, don't feel bad about your output. let me assure you it is very good! abt the mistakes, i thought only in the initial mukhda there was a slight mismatch...

you are right abt the sharp rhythm of the karaoke track. i have the same problem in the karaoke track of 'abhi na jao chhod kar' it is as if one has to be correct every micro-second, instead of simply adjusting the speed at the end of a line.

i have also realised, if one becomes too much perfect, lots of time gets wasted and we wd hardly be able to record anything. Better record something imperfect than not record anything!
