Just thought of adding to this meaningful post from AnwarFan bhai.
Indeed what you say is quite right. People, freinds will percieve any song differently (this is reality). Knowing this, lets change ourselves and use softer language for any remarks (but lets not miss on conveying his/her perception). This will definately attract the new comers. On the other hand lets accept any eligible critics and perceptions with big heart (if we want to improve further)

Sanjay, actually I had used that (Thumbs up/ down) style at some other place and those my friend had welcomed the idea. May be it was because it was more than Mehfil kind of a thing. And no one really complained that it was harsh or kind of judgement by me. Rather they looked at it as critical comment of a person. In our case here, I was not sure only because I did not know whether we are so much free with each others. May be we have to know each other more? Donno, I am bit confused now!

Nope............i've already sang "piya Bin" in form of raag yaman..............the karaoke i have is "ajeeb dastan hain yeh"...........but i dun know how to set the setting...........in volume control or audiocity....i just wanna know how u mix music with voice ..............i used to do it, but i forgot now ....so plz i need ur help

Simple steps are,

Launch 'Audacity'

1. Click on 'File' and 'Open'
2. Select the Karaoke track on which you want to sing
3. On the right top corner, u will find microphone setting as well, make sure you have selected the 'Microphone' there
4. Make sure the Microphone sound is high enough for ur voice
5. Plug in ur head phones for u to hear the track while singing
6. Then finally click on 'Record' to record the voice

OMkarbhai is bang on. But to reiterate,

your voice consistency has improved a lot, sung with a lot of enthu, sung sweetly with love (very important)

sirjee mistakes like MOsam is unpardonable. however great a work you do on the song, the human mind tends to dwell on the mistakes. I believe 'a song is as bad as its weakest link'
Did you record it in the morning? Because I have this voice-shaking problem in the mornings, and by evening my voice peaks, and i guess it is same with everyone.
I thought you kept the mic a bit closer, resulting in extra bass in your voice. I think u shd keep it slightly further. you can always increase the decibels in audacity using the amplify function later.

Singing improves with singing. You simply need to sing for an hour at least everyday whether u record or not. I hope all our friends do that here. Singing only once a week while recording is NOT a good idea.

and i just heard tujhe kya sunaun mai dilruba. mana kiya tha sub ko. shayad anwar fan ke aap kuch zyada hee fan ho! hum sub ne kya bigada hai? khair aab sun hee liya hai toh batati hun. bahut heeee achcha gaya hai aap ne. kisi ko saamne bithake gaya tha kya? poori feelings ke saath gaya hai aapne. this typ of singing is an inspiration to us all. thank you!

Hello Friends, I've tried my best with this Track. I played the Track back to back with origional and this just runs.....I've tried best not to appear as if I am constantly trying to keep up with the Track. Seems Track makers dont try it out themselves before unleashing it to the public.

i read that, but it didn't work for me .........i dun have the Sound MAx HD audio........so that's why i still ask here...........the set up did not work

anwar mian, thx for your kind words! waise i am also interested in knowing how to make a video and put it on Youtube. esnips mein 40-50 hits aate hain after months aur youtube mein u get 20 times that many hits. aapke paas koi jaankari hai to share kijiye. waise azgarbhai kidhar hai aajkal? I have heard most of his songs, and I like his choice of songs. He looks like a man of great taste.

Geet sis, the idea is sing all the time whenever u r not doing anything specific! I sing while taking bath, driving, at home moving around. 'Apne dhun mein rehta hun!'

actually logon ko pyar pehle ho jata hai, and love inspires them to become shayars and singers. Mera case kuch ulta hai. mujhe sangeet se itna pyar hai ke any girl around me is in danger of me falling in love with her at that moment. 99% of hindi film music tries to say either of the 2 things. ONE. I love you, or TWO I loved you, but you ditched me, and i'll try to forget you, etc. It is virtually impossible to sing these songs without having a medium to express the feelings. Hope u understand!

Aapne to bahot hi powerful song gaya hai. Itna josh hai ke... my god. Definately naachte naachte gaya hoga yeh gana (recoding), I can't imagine just quietly sitting and recording. Again welcome to this thread (you have brought some madhhosh aawaz, variety and energy)
