Dear friends,
Pancham-da, as we dearly call RD in Bengali, directed music in only 2 bengali films in the first glorious twenty years of his music career, and they were super-duper hits. He, of course, every year released a Bengali non-film Puja album, and those are still considered the gems of Bengali modern music. But that is his success-story part. In his shadowy days, in 80's and early 90's he managed the time to direct music in almost thirty Bengali films. A few were popular, but many remained un-noticed. It's fate probably, because many of those songs were, well, in one sentence, as superb as RD's songs. I'll be uploading all the albums I have, and request you, if anybody has those, to fill in the missing ones. In this process we can build together a complete RD Bengali film archive. First, the list of films that I have, and the sequence I'll will follow to upload them (all songs in mp3 128 kbps): 01_Satorupa 02_Apon Amar Apon 03_Aagoon 04_Jhankar 05_Aacrosh 06_Kalidas 07_Akhane Aamar Swargo 08_Adhikar 09_Devata 10_Aahankar 11_Lawrai 12_Aradhana 13_Anusandhan 14_Aonuraager Chowa 15_Akanto Apon 16_Jeevan Maran 17_Aporupa 18_Kolonkinee Konkaabotee (from cassette, recording is at best ok) The following films, sadly I don't have, and need to be added to make the archive complete. Any help in this matter will make a dream come true. Aanondo Niketan Birodh Bou Rani Krodhee Lodaai Maa Nobaab Odhikaar Ohonkaar Ojaanaa Poth Ondho Bichaar Puroskaar Purushottom Rajkumari Shesh Chithi Shroddhaanjoli Shwet Pathorer Thaalaa Tin Moorti Troyee (I have a cassette, but recording Q is real bad) Enjoy friends, let's start with film 1, satarupa. Track 001(5.26min)/Track 002(4.47min)/track 003(4.54min)/track 004(5.21min) (will integrate track length in the song name next post onward, don't know how to delete/edit already attachment file-names) Add the track duration within 24 hours to avoid file deletion. i heard this song on banla channel
ek ta raja shukhi ..... something like that picturised on mithun da singing in restaurant tyype of location with friends also and singer was kishore da can any one recall that and please tell me the name of movie regards |
