"Officially" the MD for Basant was Pannalal Ghosh. But it was always rumoured that because of the cap on the numbers of films one could be MD of at a given point in time, Anil Biswas gave the credit to Pannalal Ghosh but actually wrote the composition.

Hi Everyone

I am looking for a song 'Kateele tore naina' by Shamshad Begum from 'Nishana' 1950 ( MD Khursheed Anwar & Lyricist Nakshab) in good audio quality. I have about five copies of this song all of them copied from an originally taped song from a radio program of a shortwave radio station most probably Radio Ceylon or Vividh Bharati.
