Words from my middle school years still stuck in my memory.
On Noor Jehan's ( Emperor Jehangir' wife's) tomb she chose these words for her own epitaph.( My recall of these words may not be perfect)
'Ba mazare maan ghariban ne chiraghe ne gulle,
Ne parre parwana sozzed ne sadaaye bulbulle.'
On the tomb of this poor person please do not light a lamp or plant a flower so that a moth would not singe his wings and a nightingale will not sing any (sad) songs.
