I am looking for songs of film 'Suhaag Sindoor'1953. It had Shailesh Mukherjee as one of its music directors.
There is a duet by Asha Bhosle and Shailesh Mukherjee that I am especially interested in. Harjinder

Thanks for the information.The movie you mention is I suppose is from Pakistan. That would make sense. The singer seemed to me to have a kind of a lisp in her voice and I was at a loss to figure out who she could be. I could not think of any of the Indian female singer who sounded like that.Now if you have any more information i.e. its year of release and music director's name that also would help. Harjinder

Sassi (1954 - Pakistani)

Although both Shart and Sassi are 1954 films, I can believe Sassi's unknown MD copying Hemants classic, not the other way around. The Pakistani version is actually quite poorly sung...they couldn't even do a half decent effort at plagiarising!

Hi every one
Thanks to some of our knowledgeable members It's really nice to have internet links to Vividh Bharti and Urdu programs of All India Radio and to Hindi programs of SLBC (Radio Ceylon of olden times) . But I am trying to find a way to download songs to hard drive from live streaming programs like those.I hope some one among us knows a computer program or two that can enable us to download some of those songs. I know of a simpler way i.e. record these songs on an analog audio tape and use an analog to digital converter but that means a loss of some audio quality. If you know of a way to download these digital signals please help.Harjinder
