Hi every one
Thanks to some of our knowledgeable members It's really nice to have internet links to Vividh Bharti and Urdu programs of All India Radio and to Hindi programs of SLBC (Radio Ceylon of olden times) . But I am trying to find a way to download songs to hard drive from live streaming programs like those.I hope some one among us knows a computer program or two that can enable us to download some of those songs. I know of a simpler way i.e. record these songs on an analog audio tape and use an analog to digital converter but that means a loss of some audio quality. If you know of a way to download these digital signals please help.Harjinder

It is most likely a version song of Shart (1954)
Singer must be Sudha Malhotra.

Ok I listened to it some more. the lyrics are different in the middle from the
released song so this probably is an earlier version or test of a singer.
definitely a 50s song because the orchestration is richer then a 40s song.

Thanks for the information.The movie you mention is I suppose from Pakistan. That would make sense. The singer seemed to me to have a kind of a lisp in her voice and I was at a loss to figure out who she could be. I could not think of any among the Indian female singers who sounded like that.Now if you have any more information i.e. its year of release and music director's name that also would help. Harjinder
