Hi Everyone
Some days ago I posted A Hindi wedding song From 'Parineeta': 'Gore gore haathon mein mehndi rachaa ke...' in my Hindi/Urdu thread. Also around 1958 to 1964 I remember listening to a Punjabi verison of this song which went something like" Gore gore pairan wich jhanjar chhanakdi keeta eh sollan shingaar kyon, Challi en sohre pind aj Laado mahiye da banke shingaar toon'. It too was a wedding song, a Punjabi copy of the above song. Can you please post it if you have it? I do not remember if it was a movie song or not.Harjinder
