Spot on, Dr. Ji. Both are identical in tune both on Mukhda and Antara. But, do tell me, is there an earlier studio-recorded version of this Naat? Or is this Live Version the only one available?

If there is an earlier studio-recorded version, which came first--Deedar's or this Naat?

Many thanks.

Venkat

Hi Venkat,

I also have the studio version of this Naat.........i'll upload it as soon as possible............
I don't know which came first the Naat or the Deedar song.............can someone out there help us with this question??

Faust........

2. TYPE: Naat STUDIO VERSION

Dr. Faustus Ji,

Many sincere thanks for this upload of the studio-recorded version, in addition to your earlier uploaded Live version.

After hearing this studio version, I can say that it is a real match for the Deedar song, not only in tune but also in Rafi Saab's fresh voice and rendition! Also, regrding the timing of both, I surmise that both these (ie. the Deedar song and this studio-recorded Naat) were at about the same time!

Friends,

Any more ideas on pairs of Rafi songs that are almost identical in tune both on Mukhda and Antaras?

[b]Friends,

It was only after I joined HF that I came to know this. There are at least two pairs of Rafi Saab's songs which are almost identical in tune.

PAIR-I:

PAIR-II:

1. "Tu Hind Bane Ya na Musalmaan Banega, Insaan Ki Aulad"---Film:Dhool Ka Phool(1959)---MD:N.Datta---Rafi

2. "Kya Kya Na Sitam Tujh Pe Huve Mehlon Ki Raani"---Film:Mohini(1957)---MD:N.Datta---Rafi

Add,

Hum Laye Hai Toofan Se Kisti Nikal Ke....

Very similar tune.

Ascorpio,

Whatever may be your actual name, you are simply great! You have infused new life into this thread by discovering and uploading these two identically tuned (not just similar) songs, both on Mukhda and Antaras!

And what great songs both are! Must-uploads for all Rafi fans! Even if they were not identical, they would have been excellent, top-class uploads. And both are, in fact, even identical in tune!

Many congratulations and thanks for providing yet another genuinely identical pair! "Mere Geeton Ka Singhar Ho Tum" is, of course, penned by Madhukar Rajasthani and composed by Khayyam. Any idea about the other identical song?

Venkat

PS. I tend to think that the "Har Bekhash Ke Gham Kar Ho Tum" is an earlier production compared to "Mere Geeton Ka Singhar Ho Tum"! Incidentally, I now know that this "Har Bekhash Ke Gham Kar Ho Tum" is penned by Feroze Jalandhari and composed by once again Khayyam!

After hearing both the above great, identically tuned songs many times, I must say that I liked the less famous "Har Bekhas Ke Gham Kar Ho Tum" song more than more famous "Mere Geeton Ka Singhr Ho Tum"!
