Thanks for this song, Siddiqui Ji, which I did not have earlier.

Usha Khanna had narrated a tale about this song's recording, on Vividhbharati.

If you notice, in the middle of each Antara, there is an "Oooooo Ohho Ho" separately by both Asha and Rafi Saab. Now, it seems Rafi Saab was saying his "Oooooo Ohho Ho" somewhat plainly, whereas Usha Khanna wanted some Jerk and Zing in it! She, being scared of Rafi Saab, was whispering this to Asha. Then Rafi Saab did notice Usha's discomfort, took her aside and asked what was the matter. Usha then explained it to him. Then it seems Rafi Saab said something to this effect to Usha ,"Arre, yeh to aap pehle hi kahna thha, yeh kaun si badi baath hai. Hamhe to MD jaisa mangenge waise hi gaana hai!"

And therefore now see how stylishly he had sung that "Oooooo Ohho Ho" part!

Siddiqui Ji,

The MD for Yeh Dil Kis Ko Doon is Iqbal Quereshi, and not Usha Khanna. And the female singer who keeps saying just "Pyaar Ka Aalam" at the end of each Mukhda is Usha Khanna. IQ and UK had a very close professional association.

What you have uploaded is the only version of this "Phir Aane Laga Yaad" song. To the best of my knowledge, there is no Rafi-Asha duet version of this song, as Pratul had mentioned somewhere above!
