The 1956 movie Miss Coca Cola starred Geeta Baali. (If I am not mistaken this was her first movie with her future husband Shammi Kapoor).
If someone has other songs do upload them. I am told they are quite good. (Sach sach bol nahin and Teri kaafir nigaah). (Put other songs too of the movie)

If anyone wants it I shall upload it)

The lyricist of this song is Saroj Mohini Nayyar, the better half of composer O P Nayyar. C H Atma sang it as a private song.
Later Guru Dutt took it for his film Mr and Mrs 55 (1955). The name of the hero in the film is also Preetam.
(Was it that way just for this song ? I wonder !)

And yes, Saroj ji was not sure if any singer other than C H Atma will be able to do justice to this lovely biraha song.
Geeta ji (as usual) sang it from her heart and and what a song it is ! Of course the best song from the film is
'Thandi Hawa Kaali Ghata' (many have said that this song describes the essence of Geeta ji's singing.)

Even in a regular club song 'Neele aasmaani' (filmed on Cuckoo) she puts so much emotions and makes it so pleasant on the ears.
