But I think Mahendra kapoors voice does suit Manoj Kumar better in the picturised song.
I'll just tape the song from the Tv show, since nobody seems to have this Rafi/M kapoor duet.

Haneef, you are right. MK (Manoj Kumar) in the later stages of his career even put MK (Mahendra Kapoor) before Rafi when he had to sing a song in a film. Films such as Upkar come to mind as examples.

As far as this particular song is concerned almost all the HF members (including myself) have it as it has been u/l'd innumerable times in this Forum. It is strange that no one is responding to you now, especially when you yourself has u/l'd so many songs recently.

I am not among your friends who is reluctant to help you out. You yourself reminded me when you were a total stranger to me I had emailed to you songs even in the RMIM days when most of the prominent RMIMers made fun of such solicitation.

Some ignorant newbies in this Forum have even the gall to bark loudly on the contributions of older members who have been here much before the ratio system was ever enforced, without knowing what these older members did much before they joined the Forum. Yes, to a newcomer, I appear to be a u/l-guzzler with a cumulative d/l of over 25GB. But I have u/l'd nearly 0.5 GB too. What is not known to most newcomers is that I virtually stopped u/l'g after I had issues with the Admins over VBR and 192 kbps files. The Admins repeatedly spurned my appeals for a relaxation in the rules. The last large scale u/l I did was on November 23, 2006, two days after the ratio system with its stringent regulations came into effect.

The last time I revisited this issue was when the new Admins took over and I had some hopes that they would be more open if indeed they were a different set of people. Alas my hopes were dashed to the ground. To date cYb0rG has not even shown the courtesy to send any reply to the following email I sent on March 20,2007:

Please reconsider the maximum bitrate for u/l's. As a lot of members have 192 kbps songs and it is too much of a hassle to downgrade the quality, why don't you consider raising the maximum bitrate limit to 192 kbps. True, there a lot HF’ers who are either clandestinely u/l'g even up to 256 kbps or 320 kbps or are openly flouting the ceiling imposed by HF rules. I would not want to do both. Instead, I would like to do the legal way if the rules were adjusted to allow this. Another request is to have no restrictions on the VBR files. Hope you would consider these points. I do not have any personal interest to inflate my u/l ratio as I am an Angel Member who doesn't have any d/l restrictions.

Haneef I do have the media you want with me but it is in my mobile hard drive whose plug is loose and not working right now. If you have the patience to wait for about a month when I will be going to downtown Toronto to repair or replace it, I will either u/l the file if it is within the prescribed limits or email it to you if it is of a better quality. But I must warn you that it is from the movie and not a CD as only the Talat version was officially recorded separately.
