Me too .. The singers match perfectly with the actors and their characters i.e. Mohd Aziz for Anil Kapoor's character Lakhan , Amit Kumar for the bad guy and Alisha for the other woman who secretly loves Lakhan.
I wonder if music directors Laxmi Pyare selected singers based on the characters and the scene sequence, since they arranged songs and selected singers so well all the time. Thoughts/Comments?

the only reason why AMIT KUMAR sang for the villian was because his expression is truly amazing!
just like his father he acts the song out doing full justice & believe me that isnt easy!

AMIT KUMAR cud quite easily have sung the MOHD. AZIZ part but...
cud MOHD. AZIZ sang the AMIT KUMAR villian part as good with the right expression & feeling?

something to think about?

i speak to PYARELALji on a regular basis his such a humble & great human being, he tells me AMIT KUMAR is extremely versatile & a very very special gifted singer who can do anything if he puts his mind to it!
just like the rest of us he too feels that sadly... AMIT KUMAR has totally wasted his talents!

Really such a pity situation.. We have one more Kishore Kumar in the face of Amit Kumar but we are NOT AT ALL lucky to get enough from him... He is really a living legend... A Real Lion in Music Industry..
