There must be some confusion here.

Madan Mohan was the composer for this song and for the film 'Chandan' (1958). Rajinder Krishan was the lyricist - yes and Johny Walker was there too. But this narration that you mentioned could have been for some other song composed by Chitragupt- or could be attributed to someone else - MM's son perhaps ? If it is the latter - I could have it verified...from the horse's mouth, so to speak !!

Sri sahab, i made an inadvertent slip with the movie name. It's simply unforgivable.
As you correctly pointed out the composer for the movie Chandan was indeed Madanmohan.

But the rest of the story is true - it can be corroborated by VB archives.
It is no secret that Chitragupt ji was an ardent admirer of Rajendra Krishan having worked with him in several movies produced down South - by AVM Studios.
